How I want It to Look

So using MS paint for pictures is hard but I think eventually with enough practice these can get better. Today I tried people so here they are
So above is my Character called Ghost. I started drawing him when I was around 14. Over the years as I got more into anime, The style I drew him in changed, His Hair is a knock off of Kingdom Heart's Riku now, prior to my expirence he had shorter brown hair.
The second one was a test to see if i could do paint adaptations of real people and this is my friend Viv. All in all 'm quite happy with this except for the big purple blotch on her stomach. I could have taken it away but then her shirt just looked un-detailed and I didn't know what to do. . .I ended up leaving it.
